Hi, i am back :)

Does anyone know how to calculate the ESR values of capacitors?

by ESR you mean "equivalent series resistor" or the standard capacitor values (E6/E12)?

i can't help you much, but i always trust application notes. check out the attached document.

here are some graphs from an ESR meter kit I built some time ago - generally in repair one tends to compare similar capacitor ESRs

I don't know what happened to the attachements in this topic but I can't open the pdf file and the gif files are unusable.

this is a rather old topic and the attachments probably were lost during an attack that the site experienced
