Title: 5 Volts PSU to light 300 LEDs

I need to make something really good for my house. I will put all around the top wall LEDs that will open with different lines. For example, there will be 10 different lines that will simulate a 10-stage dimmer.

In full load, there will be about 300-350 LED's. Each one need 30mA to be bright enough. This means that the total current should be 10,5 A !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a hell of a big number for 5 Volts. I check the market and could not find a transformer for this size.
Any help?
And also for the PSU... some help.

There are PSU's for pc that supply up to 40A for 5 volts, maybe something like that suits you?

40Amps? Are you sure for this number? I mean, 40 Amperes?

Come on, i do not own Akamai, i cannot give that much space for a message. Use your own servers or try uploading on free space servers. Is it so necessary to flood my hdds?

This would be 30Amps divided to 8-10 outputs making 3 Amps/Output.

The man is asking a 11,5Amps (10.5+10%) for 5 Amperes. Of course there is a transformer for this but it would be expensive, inefficient, would make a hell of dinos (causing thermal increase and => power loss) and in other words... stupid to do it.

Fred, divide them into 10 lines. Each line should have a combination of leds in series and parallel. You can then power them with 24 volts and draw a few amps (like 1-1,5) per line.

Then you can use significantly thinner cables and the transformer can be found everywhere real cheap.
