Title: PC FAN as generator
Post by: icyhammer on April 26, 2014, 14:33:20 PM
I was watching a video on YouTube, someone was using PC Fan to light up a bulb. We know he had hidden 6v batteries inside the fan, he was using it power up the electric bulb.

But question is that if we able to rotate PC Fan at high speed clock wise/ant clock wise, will the FAN can generate enough power even if it can power a small LED?

a pc fan has a controller in between the poles, i doubt that you will get any power out of this fan. The coils have a low-side mosfet
