Title: PWM Controller question
Post by: FlyinGeorge on August 09, 2015, 15:47:12 PM
Hello everyone.

I want to ask if it possible to make a controller for a pwm pump using only 1 connections.
One cable is the rpm signal and the other is the pwm signal.
The -,+ volts are given trough another cable from the power supply unit so that's something i don't need to worry about.
So is it possible to make a controller only for the signal cable so i can operate the speed of the pump?
I don't mind if i don't see the rpm.

You need one wire for the own and one for common ground. These are the minimum requirements for you. If you gave these 2 wires provided then yes, you can make a pen controller. Seek in my website for simple pwm motor controller in the circuits session.
