Title: A simple question for CNC PCb
Post by: karl_folker on May 05, 2008, 21:00:04 PM
A simple question for this. I have a software for make a pcb and a schematic. Then kan this to a CNC send and make the pcb.

But how kan the cnc make the pcb? The holes understand i. I understand not the etching. How can this do it?

Well karl, it really does the same as etching but with a router. A small router is used to remove the copper from the surface. It is a little 'stoneage' method, a little bit brutal but almost 100% success for even a first time maker. All you need is a CNC machine...  :D ;D ;D

You can even build a cnc for this reasons, there's plenty of sites giving schematics and stuff on how to do it.
