Kam,
I have a stupid question but i have to ask
Do i need to have a pull down resistor on the output or not
The output is connected directly to another pic input, also on port B
I am not familiar if i need pulldown and or any kind of isolation between the two ports
In my mind it is simple, that as long as a button is not touched, it will be at zero so the other pic which act as an input does not need any pulldown or protection
I might be wrong but i need to know
Thank you
Ion

normally not, you do not need a pull-down. the pic output is either high or low, as long as it is configured as digital output.
