I am very noob about electronics but I want to make a project I hope someone help me..

here is my project: I want to make a power generator ( I do not know what they call it )

here's my idea : I have a small motorcycle engine that can supply a 12volt 20a and I am planning to buy a inverter 12v dc to 220v ac. so I can plug in some of my appliances like ' light bulb, laptop, Tv.

but I do not know how to start. Can someone give me a tip or any ideas?

this project would be very difficult for you since you are noob.If you plan to buy the parts then i don't think that would be difficult to connect them.I plan to make something similar in a few months.So if you are not in a hurry you will take ideas from my project...
