i would like to ask you a question do you know when we program a pic micro controller to blink an led ,instead can we program an pic microcontroller to blink a torch light what are the hardware changes that are needed and parts which are needed, sorry i am new to electronics therefore this elementary question

First you wanna go through the theory of controlling LEDs:

LED driving and controlling methods

Its good to go through the whole theory so that you know what you're doing. Then go to page 6 and you will find there the circuit that you look for
