Awaiting Approval

Just curious.. How long does it take for a post to be approved? My first post has been sitting in the Que for a few days now.

Usually a few hours, but for some reason I missed the (!) mark for the "waiting to be approved" posts. This SMF forum engine sucks so much with the non-approved posts, but if i let all new users post at once, then the forum will become an ad-sales-porn forum. The bots love to automatically post...
