This is a .com forum and is not supposed from its members to understand native languages. If we cannot understand the question how you expect us to answer it? And after all where else in this site have you seen other language than english? The maths section only contains some Greek terms that are universally used.
We have members from all over the world but nobody writes in his native language, so why you do?
If you can translate your question we will be more than happy to try to give you a solution.
After a week from today (27/05/08) this topic will be erased. Thank you for your cooperation.

Apology for the above.

The problem is that I bought a DVD player (the type is digital dvx 495), which has  the processor ZORAN VADDIS 966.
I changed its firmware and now the player does not operate. It does not switch on.
Can I fix this problem?

thanks

The dvd brand is digital or bluesky? The Vadis 966 has no official firmware upgrade or is supported in any means from Zoran, where did you found yours? Anyway, the only therapy is to flash the original firmware again by cd or by serial but you have to make some connections to the board for that. If the player manufacturer has representative in your country they can handle that. If nothing helps send the complete writtings from the back of the chip and we see what we can do.

Look the truth is that a friend flashed a wrong firmware by mistake.
The player was operating but not normally. He tried to flash again the player with the wrong firmware, but at the restart phase (when the door is open) he switched it off. Since then the player does not switch on.
I think the  dvd brand is bluesky. How can I be sure?

thanks for your interest

It sounds logical not to switch on cause the upgrade didn't completed properly (the switching off thing).
At the bottom of the dvd (usually) there is a manufacturer plate or sticker where all data of player is written, check it out and see, else look at the back.

I'm not sure but i don't believe it was neccesary to flash the firmware to do that.

I have done this again with an other Divx player with success. The Greek subtitles characters initially were like Chineze. When I flashed with the proper firmware, it were ok.

at the bottom of the player there is a label

The model is dvx 495 and depending on the country is sold as bluesky, digital or cj digital. I can't find nowhere the original firmware. The chip (Vadis 966) is one of the best in the market right now but with no support or software tools from Zoran to aid his upgradeability. The only thing you can do is to find somewhere the original firmware and flash it again, if is still on guarantee maybe you can return it and get a new one!  ;) or ask the importer for the firmware. Sorry we couldn't help more.
