It is for auto irrigation. Inside of plastic box there are three electromagnetic valves. The swithces are for manual operation. Automatic is operated from PLC . ( modification of the first project  :))

And how does this work? With timer? With soil humidity control? Rain control? Temperature?

And something else. Why not a photo from the inside?

And something more. You have good knowledge of PLC and automations, you lack of beautification... This is a very nice rojects for those who know and only. Others just see a white box with 3 tubes and an ugly wire connection, unacceptable for near-water applications...

If someone buy from ebay with 10 euros an automatic valve, with nice finished green plastic and yello lines... with a fancy display, it will be 10-15 times cheaper than yours but will attract the eyes... And of course your eyes too. It is a matter of psychology. A running project will stay running as long as you like the outfit. Because, after 10-15 months, you will get used to the idea of this working project so much, that you will not admire what you made any more. You will keep it running if it is looking good. At least that is what happens with me.

Hide those tubes, remote those switches... Give your life some color.  8)

Except the looks that is awfull, nice job!
You should consider when making something, the appearence of it, your skills seem like you know what are you doing and its pity not to make a good project also look good. Since everything is controlled via plc the switches why are outside?
