Yo!
I am new to microcontrollers and i would like some ideas.Like, what type of micro should i start with... You know, basic things

I know about atmel and micrichip. Are there more?

Well, i am stuck to PICs. They are very very cheap, hudge list of applications and very good support and documentation. You may try also MPLAB from microchip together with a compartible programmer/debugger. You may dcebug the program prior to application. COOL

Any tutorials for PICs? I found some manuals and i can better read Chinese... Really  :-\
