Math equation help

Halo!!

Excuse me for the bad english.

I must to solve the equation:

x2 + x = 1

Help from some one?

It looks like a 2nd degree equation to me.

X2+x-1=0

or more general  ax2+bx+c =  0

So

D=b2-4*a*g

In your equation, D=1-4*1*(-1) = 5

And has 2 solutions where

x1 = (-b+SQR(D))/(2*a)
and
x2 = (-b-SQR(D))/(2*a)

You can calculate the solutions...
