Viacom Vs Google
« on: September 04, 2008, 19:36:00 PM »
This is not for laughs, Viacom sued Youtube (a company owned by Google since 2006) because it broadcasts copyrighted material. The sad thing is that Viacom won and obliged Youtube to hand everything to Viacom, what users see, their ip's, everything! Now Viacom can track YOU and sue you because you watched something that is copyrighted. Not to forget that as a court decision this case can be used from  other companies to win in same cases. There goes our privacy and freedom on the web.  :(  :(

And they will sue 2.000.000 people? Maybe those who uploaded the material. But everyone? Isnt this a little bit........ too much?
