« on: September 15, 2008, 10:59:34 AM »
Hello,

I need a program to calculate the transistor needed for an application. Is there any?

Thank you

Maybe this will help.

This is nice transistor selector but how do i know what transistor to select?

I want to know for example if i make an amplifier, what transistor to select?

Suppose that you make an amplifier 10Watt. What transistor should you select?

you need to know the range of amplification (usually 20Hz to 18KHz for audio), and the current for the transistor calculated by the power. Actually, you need to design it first and then select one transistor.

OR acquire a transistor and design the rest according to it. There is not such a program.
