Just wait, six core is just a midpoint model untill the new CPU's arrive. Is same architecture like the quad's but with 2 extra proccecors. I think if you ask Intel why they did it, they'll answer: Cause we can!  ;D  ;D

I have a friend that will insist that @MD has better architecture than 1ntel. Some thermal problems they had now are solved. They need less power and less clock speed to achieve same or better CPU speeds.
As you already know, i ordered an 1ntel for my PC. But i really would like to have some tests and benchmarks. Did you catch what i want to say e?

I believe your friend was reffering to older versions of cpu's. As fot the bencmarks you'll have to wait a couple of days since i'm going on a trip to Crete to install a new machine.

Made up your mind yet? Just don't forget how the industry works, in 3 months time maybe AMD release a new one better than Intel, Intel will release a new one and so on. :)
