« on: May 06, 2009, 17:24:27 PM »
Can this be? Of course not, but the arrival of a new player in search engines is a fact. Wolfram Alpha is a new mixture of library, search engine and probably many more that will show upon it's debute later this month. For now you can check some details following the source link and also visit everyday the Wolfram site to check if it started.

It's a good time to start now. They have enough experience to make theie databases better and more flexible, so we can use better search criteria.

Y! and Google are veterans. But the search engine they use is sometime so inefficient that someone has to give birth to new ways of searching... You have all live this in the past.

It may be that this new search engine will have better search criteria.

What you mean? I find it a nice try when it comes to scientific data and stuff. And don't forget it's still in testing.
