PS2 to USB converter for keyboard wanted
« on: May 14, 2009, 22:51:34 PM »
I am sure you have all notice that with some mouses there is this green adapter, the usb to ps2 adapter.

What i am looking for is a ps2 to usb adapter. I found one once but it just did not work. Nothing happens when i insert it in the usb alone or even with the keyboard. The hint is that i want to convert a ps2 keyboard to usb.

Does anyone know something that would work?

Usually the opposite, usb to ps2, is a problem with keyboards.
Is the converter purple colored? I don't know if there is a difference between mouse and keyboard converters.
You plug the keyboard with the pc running? If so, shut it down and then plug the keyboard with the converter as one.
There are some poorly made converters also that doesn't work at all.
What brand of keyboard you have? I tried this with a cheap Microsoft ps2 keyboard and works ok.
