Can an amateur make a robot?

I am very amateur and want to make a robot. Is it very difficult? Almost impossible for me?

Any book or kit to start with and learn?

Depends on what you mean by "making". You want to just assemble a ready made kit or start a long journey by getting the pieces together search for software and all the other details?

There are several kits that you can start with, from beginners to more advanced.

Getting learn some micros and then you may make your own! But start with a kit. it is very easy and fun!

You must have the basic knowledge of electronics and a little bit of talent. Nothing else.

Yes. I'm enrolled in CIE Bookstore's robotics certificate course. It shows a beginner the fundamentals of robtics and how to build two robots:
