Economy lamps bad for the health?
« on: March 28, 2008, 14:11:54 PM »
I heard also this. The new economy ecological lamps, will emit a radiation that still no one knows if it is dangerous for the health.

This is for me true as these lamps i know that operate in high frequencies with strange sthings inside it and high voltages. This makes a perfect combination for a radio emitter.  For those that you know better about radio emitting, i think is more logic.

Every lamp that uses an electric arc to start emitting light also emits "waves", i don't know if its radiation or not but i'll check it out and re-post.

Which lamps do you mean? Are they used in homes or just industry or working places?

If only the light was the single source of cancer that would be great but think, all the radiowaves from mobiles, Wifi and other stuff its good? Genetically mutated food is good? Pollution is good? Even if we live ok who can say to us that our kids wont born with three heads and seven arms? At least smoking is a pleasure. :)
