2013 Dyson Design Award Finalists: Inexpensive Exoskeleton, Fresh Fruit Container [News]
posted October 19 2013 5:57.53 by spic0m

Since 2007, the James Dyson Foundation, founded by inventor and designer James Dyson (you probably know him for the bagless vacuum), has been giving out an award for outstanding engineering and design. The award goes to students or recent graduates, and the winners are chosen by a panel of design and engineering professionals. The grand prize is more than $48,000, with another $16,000 going to the university department that produced the student's work. The Dyson Awards announced their finalists on October 10, and we already want some of them to be real products.
