The 2008 Rigol 1052A was an excellent value for money scope that most amateur (and not only) electronic enthusiasts already own. Rigol released the new 4 channel 50MHz DS1054 Z-series scope and Dave did the classic teardown to discover how Rigol can get such an incredible value for money.
