Stress testing aircraft tires is as impressive as it sounds [Video]

During landing and takeoff, the tire of the airplane experiences extreme forces and friction. "We got a flat tire" is something that the pilot should never have to say. The last Concorde accident was caused by a flat tire - A piece of the spinning tire penetrated the wing above and caused the disaster. To avoid situations like this, Dunlop puts aircraft tires to the test. Watch this impressive video!
