posted April 4 2013 20:35.38 by Giorgos Lazaridis

This partially explains the stupidity boom... Neanderthal cranial capacity is believed to be larger than the average modern humans, which is a strong indication that they probably had larger brains as well! In 2008 a team of scientists used a 3D computer-assisted reconstruction of Neanderthal infants based on fossils found in Russia and Syria. It was shown that both Neanderthal and modern human brains were the same size at birth, but during adulthood the Neanderthal brain grew larger. ) tall.[11]
