The Coca Cola recipe revealed... Let's DIY
posted February 15 2011 23:04.06 by Giorgos Lazaridis

The news came from the Chicago-based radio program "This American Life". The secret recipe of the soft drink is kept in a vault inside the company headquarters in Georgia. The recipe dates back to 1886, and goes something like this: Coca extract, citric acid, lime juice, vanilla, caramel, caffeine, sugar, water and 7x. This 7x sounds scary, like nuclear waste or frog blood, but it is something more simple, or should i say 7 simple ingredients: orange oil, alcohol, nutmeg oil, lemon oil, coriander, neroli and cinnamon. That's all! Now you know.
