Having fun with big ultra capacitors [Electronics]
posted April 15 2013 19:40.36 by Giorgos Lazaridis

Fun and teaching together! Capacitors have extremely low internal resistance, in the scale of miliohms. This allows to deliver huge amounts of currents compared to batteries. This is nothing new. But what i was rather astonished by this video is that after all these tests and burns and flames and smoke, the capacitors held most of their original charge!
