For those who badly need a hug, even from a cold bot
posted June 27 2011 19:04.31 by Giorgos Lazaridis

Are you alone but you badly need a hug? Your girlfriend left you, your best friend is on a business trip and your beloved pet just died? This bot made from the University of Electro-Communications, Japan, is just what you need. You wear the special designed vest with pressure sensors, vibrators and pneumatic muscles, and you hug the torso bot with the sensors. The system will copy your hug and paste it on you... IMHO, this bot is addressed to pathetic personalities...
