Sharks will love you if you scratch their nose [Random Knowledge #35]
posted April 1 2013 20:17.20 by Giorgos Lazaridis

Although sharks have this bad reputation of being vicious man eaters, scuba divers insist that they are more like pets. To prove this, they dive with them, and they pet them... by scratching their nose... The shark seems to enjoy this just like cats enjoy being scratch under their neck. The difference is that you do not pet your cat being dressed with a stainless steel suit (unless of course your cat is a lion).
