Franklin bells remake

Here is another interesting scientific experiment. This one comes from Teravolt, well known for his obsession with high voltage sparks. What he did is a variation of the Franklin bells. The Franklin bells, invented by Benjamin Franklin in the 18th century during his experimentation with electricity, are actually a qualitative indicator of electric charge. What you are about to see, is the proof that the two soda cans can hold an electric charge, and also this charge can be transferred to the object that comes in touch. Also, when this object has the same charge as the soda can, it is repealed by this can, while in the same time it is attracted by the other soda can that has the opposite electric charge. Interesting video.
