Automatic Ultrasonic Trash Can Lid Opener [Project]
posted September 9 2014 8:31.50 by Giorgos Lazaridis

This project requires some tweaking as far as the electronics is concerned, and definitely some basketball skills as far as the operator is concerned. What this guys has done is he made an ultrasonic range detection device and placed it near the lid of a trash can. Then he used an arduino board to control a servo. This servo in turn is placed so that it can open the lid of the trash can.
