This film from the inside of Lexar's facilities is super impressive
posted February 3 2011 8:55.36 by Giorgos Lazaridis

Lexar, a division of Micron technology, released an impressive video from the inside of the Lexar's plant in Lehi, Utah. The facilities, which are 100 times cleaner than a hospital, operate 24/7 365 days a year. The silicon wafers travel through 800 different processes, and it takes more than a month to make a memory chip! Watch the whole process in this 6 1/2 minutes film. You will be astonished by the robotics and the manufacturing precision.
