Old Pirate Bay is the New Pirate Bay Archives (at least for now)
posted December 15 2014 19:07.57 by Giorgos Lazaridis

Pirate Bay was taken down after a police raid... And before it even got forgotten in time, a well known torrent site (and somewhat a competitor of Pirate Bay), the isohunt.to decided to copy the Pirate Bay Archives and raise the oldpiratebay.org search to honor the beloved website.

They said:
As you all probably know, the beloved Pirate bay website is gone for now. It will be missed. It will be always remembered as the pilgrim of Freedom and possibilities on the Web. It's the symbol for a whole generation of the internet users.

In it's honor we are making oldpiratebay.org search. We, the Isohunt.to team, copied the base of the PirateBay in order to save it to the generations of users. Nothing will be forgotten.

Because Hasta La Victoria Siempre!!! You may get the site down, but you can never touch its legacy!
