Are cellphones a real threat for airplanes? [Video]

If you've ever been into a plane in the last 10 or so years, then you certainly know that those beautiful ladies inform the passengers that "the use of cellphones is prohibited during the flight"... But why is that? Are cell phones a threat for the plane? Or is there another reason?
