Athens is a medium-sized city packed with buildings and cars - As you see, Athens is the capital of Greece. Greek firm Panos Dragonas Christopoulou Architects decided to make a place of solitude for regular city escapes, right on the rooftop of an apartment block.
Its called "Detached", and it was created for an art exhibition named "The Minimum Structure". Made mainly of wood, it is raised 2 meters above the rooftop and has a ladder to access its interior.
The overall area inside is 9 square meters and has only a few basic furniture.
