Nice video explains how to chose the proper band saw blade
posted January 15 2013 17:47.46 by Giorgos Lazaridis

Matthias makes some very interesting videos. Some years ago i was working with a moulder machine and i happened to come across some strange problems with the cutting knives. It took me a long time to learn some of the secrets regarding the cutting tools for the wood process machines.

In this video, Matthias explains why it is important to choose the proper band saw blade for the work. Thicker woods requires blades with less and bigger teeth. Moreover, the tension and the blade width are also important parameters for proper cutting.
