I just received a tip from George, one of the people responsible for the site NBitWonder. Some time ago, they uploaded an article explaining the importance of documentation for a project. This time, the people from NBitWonder developed a set of open documentation templates that can be freely used, to help project makers organize the structure of documentation. This is what George wrote:
"Documentation is one of the most important aspects of a project, and can make the difference between whether your project is popular and used by others or not. In light of this, we developed some open-source documentation templates in LaTeX (the typesetting language) for the Maker community to use. This will offer the ability to write up documentation in TeX files and then convert one's documentation to a wide variety of formats, including PDF, HTML, Wiki, etc. Additionally, we maintain an online git repository where people can download the templates from (https://github.com/NBitWonder/ProjectTemplates)"
I totally agree with this. Make a space shuttle without any documentation, and people will only use it for artistic purposes... Thanks [George]!
