What would happen if the Sun suddenly disappears? [Space]
posted April 2 2013 19:35.04 by Giorgos Lazaridis

This is a most unlikely scenario - I mean, there are many other more elegant ways for us to die, the big rip, the big crunch... The "disappeared Sun" scenario is not a very popular scenario among the space community. But for the sake of this video, let's just say that the sun simply disappears. What would this mean for us? And what would this mean for the other living things on Earth? Well, it seems that this would not be the end of life on Earth! Watch this video with a nice thought experiment.
