Useless machine that counts times being useless

This is another make of the original Claude Elwood Shannon's Ultimate machine. What this machine does, is absolutely nothing, it just turns off itself when someone turns it on. That was the original idea after all. Futmacl's machine is hosted in a 20x15x8 cm cigar box. An AVR ATmega48P controls the two Kysan geared motors. The process begins when someone turns on the toggle switch on. The box interior is lightened, and the box cap is opened with he first motor. The second motor drives the 'lever' that turns off the switch. The lever is retracted, the light is turned off, the cover is closed and... that's all. Oh i forgot, a 4-digits display on top counts how many times this process is done. Follow this link to see more info.

miheyk made a reproduction of the Ultimate Machine or the Most Useless Machine Ever. The attempt was succesfull and the fun is same as the original one. Nothing fancy nothing technological just pure fun. Enjoy!
