Hi, i am back :)
Does anyone know how to calculate the ESR values of capacitors?
-
welcome back cheerio!
by ESR you mean "equivalent series resistor" or the standard capacitor values (E6/E12)?
-
"equivalent series resistor"

i can't help you much, but i always trust application notes. check out the attached document.
-
here are some graphs from an ESR meter kit I built some time ago - generally in repair one tends to compare similar capacitor ESRs

thx george. awsome

this is a rather old topic and the attachments probably were lost during an attack that the site experienced
