Useless machine that counts times being useless
posted November 25 2010 7:36.40 by Giorgos Lazaridis

This is another make of the original Claude Elwood Shannon's Ultimate machine. What this machine does, is absolutely nothing, it just turns off itself when someone turns it on. That was the original idea after all. Futmacl's machine is hosted in a 20x15x8 cm cigar box. An AVR ATmega48P controls the two Kysan geared motors. The process begins when someone turns on the toggle switch on. The box interior is lightened, and the box cap is opened with he first motor. The second motor drives the 'lever' that turns off the switch. The lever is retracted, the light is turned off, the cover is closed and... that's all. Oh i forgot, a 4-digits display on top counts how many times this process is done. Follow this link to see more info.

Automatic Harmonica
posted September 8 2010 16:42.27

toka15l is building an Arduino controlled automatic harmonica, even though the project is not completed yet and modifications needed in the programing and some noise dampening material in the motor case, if you listen close you can recognize the "Daisy Bell" tune played.
A melodic project we wait to hear it completed.
